Granite Frontiers
A Century of Yosemite Climbing

It's on the move! Turns out the exhibit in the Valley was such a success that the show has hit the road. The first stop is the Autry National Center of the American West. The exhibit is scheduled June 12 - October 4, 2009.
We are excited and honored to be hosted by the Autry. This exhibit is sure to be a hit as many more treasures from the YCA collection have been added and the creativity of the museum staff has brought many fun and interesting additions.

Facelift 2009
The 2009 Facelift is coming upon us quickly and boy do we need it. The lucky days are September 23 - 27, 2009 - be sure to mark your calenders. As spring is turing into summer the visitors have been rolling in and we all know what that means in the long run - litter and the overwhelming need for litter removal. So, once again we are asking for your help in cleaning up the Park during the 6th Annual Facelift.
The last five years have treated YCA and the Annual Facelift well; we have grown and gained much success. Per year an estimated 20 tons of discarded junk by humans have been removed from the ground, rocks and waterways by 2,000 + volunteers. Its a worthy event for a just cause. Come see why it's so fun and why it grows each year. Once again there will be daily raffles, inspiring evening programs, and all sorts of other happenings. Join us this year as we show our respect for Yosemite and celebrate caring for this natural wonder we all love so much!
Email us at www.yca@inreach.com with your free camping needs if you can make it and we will put you on the list. First to get in touch will be the first to get camping. We hope to see you there!
