Tuesday September 25, 2012 at East Auditorium - 7th Annual Reel Rock Film Tour. Doors open at 6:30 pm. and close at 10:30 pm.

Wednesday September 26, 2012 at East Auditorium -  Ben Lepesant - "Team Endor going to Hoth. A multinational climbing expedition to Baffin Island", Mike Schaefer presentation,  Conrad Anker - "The Bread Line". Doors open at 6:30 pm. and close at 10:30 pm.

Thursday September 27, 2012 at East Auditorium - Greg Stock - "The Geology of Yosemite Climbing", Sean Leary presentation, Mark Wellman - "No Limits". Doors open at 6:30 pm. and close at 10:30 pm.

Friday September 28, 2012 at East Auditorium - Cheyne Lempe - "Viva Patagonia", James Lucas - "The Lifestyle Climber", and Alex Honnold - "Adventures". Doors open at 6:30 pm. and close at 10:30 pm.

Saturday September 29, 2012 On the grass at Yosemite Elementary School - Live music from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Graham Smith-White will open then Little Brother will play.

Sunday September 30, 2012 at East Auditorium - Food, raffle and dancing to music by Little Brother. Doors open at 6:00 pm and event ends at midnight.

(updated May 31, 2012). Facelift is a volunteer activity in Yosemite National Park, Sept 25-30. This is an annual clean-up in the park sponsored largely by Yosemite climbers, but attended by a wide range of volunteers. The Yosemite Archeology Office has become involved over the years in order to limit damage to archeological sites, and to train volunteers to differentiate historical artifacts from more modern trash. Public education activities include: screening the "trash" for historical cultural material, documenting the artifacts, and involving archeological volunteers from students (grad and undergrad) to CRM professionals. It's fun, and a great way to learn about historical Yosemite archeology. And camping opportunities may be provided. It is that time of year again. We are now ready to receive camping requests from participants of Yosemite Facelift 2012. Dates available are September 25th - September 30th. We have free camping for about 350 Facelift volunteers in Yosemite Valley this year. Tuolumne Campground will be closed during the Facelift, but there will be a few sites available in Porcupine Flat for the folks that want to clean in the Meadows. Yosemite Valley campground choices are Yellow Pines, Camp 4, and Upper Pines. Special thanks to Columbia Sportswear who helped us purchase an extra 40 campsites in Upper Pines Campground. Requests can be sent to yosemitefaceliftcamping@hotmail.com. We need the following information:
